| Code Of Honor Listed here is the code by which we yautja of the Dark Moon Hunters brotherhood live, hunt, and die. Carrying the DMH banner, we represent the entire brotherhood, both through our actions and with our words. As members of the DMH, we are sworn to do everything within our power to uphold the honor, dignity, and respect of the brotherhood at all times. The rules below shall be the stepping-stones on the path to honor and glory.TREAT YOUR PREY WITH RESPECT : Never insult your prey in an aggressive manner. Congratulate it on a good kill or a daring escape when appropriate. You may taunt it, but always treat it with dignity.
TREAT ALL FELLOW HUNTERS WITH RESPECT : Show the utmost respect to your fellow hunters, be they your DMH brothers or merely other yautja.
HUNT HONORABLY AND WITH FAIRNESS : There is little sport, and no honor in killing prey that is incapable of adequately defending itself. If your prey is unskilled, outnumbered, or unarmed; limit the use of weapons used and/or the amount of hunters allowed to hunt it. Also, it is considered very dishonorable to kill prey that is in the process of (re)spawning.
USE ALL MEANS AT YOUR DISPOSAL : Regardless of how much your prey complains and whines about our weapons, you are free to use any weapon in your arsenal to dispatch your prey. But, remember: The true hunter does not rely on just one weapon, but uses many and knows how to chooses the right weapon for the circumstances.
FOUL LANGUAGE IS NOT ALLOWED : The use of profanity or foul language in a hunt is not only disrespectful, but childish as well. If a situation has grown too frustrating for you to deal with calmly, then you may either leave the hunting grounds or sit quietly in a corner and wait for the madness to stop.
DO NOT TAKE A FELLOW HUNTER'S PREY : If you see that a target is already being pursued or attacked by another hunter, you are not to interfere unless he/she asks you for help, or the pursuing hunter is obviously in dire need of assistance. In some circumstances, you may take a fellow hunter's prey before realizing it or by accident. In this case, an apology is expected.
DO NOT TAKE A FELLOW HUNTER'S TROPHY : You should make it a habit to never take a trophy from a creature you did not kill. What is the point in doing so, anyway. In the case of accidently or unknowingly taking the trophy of another hunter, an apology is expected. | |
